Young people often find that they want to discuss the things that are worrying them in a relaxed and informal way. Much of the time these are the normal stresses and strains that go with being a teenager, sometimes they are more serious. This is fine, but it’s important that we have clear guidelines and boundaries.
Always Here to Listen: We are not trained counsellors, but we will always make dedicated time to listen and point you in the right direction to get the right help.
Safeguarding Boundaries: We cannot promise to keep secrets. If we believe something is important or puts you at risk, we will have to discuss it with your parents or carers. We know that might be tough, but we will help you prepare for that conversation.
Relaxed & Informal: We keep things low-pressure. Pick the moment that feels right for you—you never need a formal appointment to talk to a leader.
No Worry is Too Small: It doesn’t matter how big or small your worries might seem to you, if it matters to you, we are here to listen.
Zero Judgement: Talking about things can help, but we will never judge you, pressure you to open up, or try to tell you exactly what you must do.
Transparent Contact: You can reach out to leadership anytime via direct message or email. Just remember that in line with our digital safety rules, these accounts are always monitored by two adult volunteers.
