H-265 Explorers: Going beyond the badge!

A certificate on the wall isn't enough—it takes action to save a life. That is why we back up our registration with our Resus-Ready Charter:

H-265 Explorer Scout Unit is officially registered as Resus Ready with the UK Resuscitation Council. We don't just tick off Emergrency Aid badges; we build real-world lifesavers. We are committed to ensuring that every single member develops the skills and confidence required to save a life in an emergency.

  • Annual Structured Training Structured, face-to-face training on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), and Basic Life Support (BLS) at least once every calendar year.
  • Termly Skills Practice Regular, hands-on opportunities to practice CPR techniques and AED use at least once per term.
  • Immediate Integration Introduction to basic CPR and AED awareness for all new youth members within their very first term of joining our unit.
  • Recognition Recognition of these skills, actively supporting our members to use their life-saving training towards their Top Awards, Job and Universtity applications.
